TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - One woman is dead and a second person is in serious condition after an overnight crash.
It happened at the roundabout on Gaines Street and Woodward Avenue.
Tallahassee police say the driver of the car had trouble following the roundabout and eventually hit the median around midnight. The driver's name and age have not been released.
Emergency responders arrived on scene and took her to an area hospital, where she later died of her injuries. No other cars were involved in the accident.
This crash comes just after the city launched a new campaign called "Drivin' 8-5-0," which aims to equip Tallahassee drivers with the information they need to safely navigate the roads.
Among the traffic patterns the campaign addresses, are roundabouts.
