Update: Pedestrian killed has now been identified

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL)-- Live Oak Police have identified the pedestrian who walked into traffic and was killed on Saturday as 26-year-old Angel Carrillo.

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL)--Live Oak police officers are trying to identify a pedestrian who was killed Saturday.

Police say it happened at the intersection of Ohio Avenue and Andra Davis street.

They say a man walked into oncoming traffic. Police say he was intoxicated and the driver of the small pick-up truck who hit him took every action possible to avoid the accident.

The pedestrian was flown from the scene by Suwannee County EMS and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police say he's a Hispanic man, could be somewhere between 30 and 40 years old.

They believe his first name is Angel. He was wearing jeans and a dark hoodie.
