LOWNDES COUNTY, GA. (WTXL) - The woman killed after being hit by a truck on Tuesday has been identified. Georgia State Patrol say, the woman is 34 year old Sabrina Elaine Johnson of Moultrie, GA.
The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says, deputies and the Georgia State Patrol were called to the scene around 7:00a.m. by the driver, John L. Bradfield.
Bradfield was driving a 2002 GMC pickup, heading home west on Highway 84 when he struck the pedestrian.
When authorities arrived they found a white female between the ages of 25 and 30 dead in the median. Georgia State Patrol have a possible name for the woman but have not yet released it.
Bradfield was taken to South Georgia Medical Center for a blood test. No charges have been filed against Bradfield.
