UPDATE: 1 Man Dead Inside Home; TPD Investigating

Tallahassee Police Block off Neighborhood for Crime Scene

UPDATE, 9:41 p.m. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) is investigating a possible homicide on the city's east side.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Friday at a home in the 1700 block of Brown Street, near Centerville Road.

According to TPD, the Consolidated Dispatch Agency got a call about a domestic disturbance. When police got there, they say they found the victim, 30-year old David Brackin, dead.

Police say Brackin's brother, 35-year old Houston Brackin, was on scene at the time and is being interviewed by investigators.

According to TPD, forensics personnel are processing the scene and investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division continue to investigate the incident surrounding the death.

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Police have responded to the 1700 block of Brown St in Tallahassee. They have closed down Brown Street at both ends and crime scene tape has been put up around a home on the block. 

At least five marked patrol cars and several other unmarked cars are at the scene. At this time police have not released any other details about what happened.
