VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--Valdosta police are investigating the crash involving a school bus and bicycle.
Lt. Adam Bembry says the traffic unit is out re-creating the scene Thursday morning.
He says the bicyclist, who is in his 40's, has injuries to his legs.
The spokesman for the school system says the bus was making a right turn out of Lowndes High School onto Norman Drive and hit the bike Wednesday afternoon. The students did not need medical attention.

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--A Lowndes County school bus hits a bicycle Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the school system says the bus was trying to turn right out of Lowndes High School onto Norman Drive and hit the bicycle. It happened around 2:30 p.m.
Eight students were on the bus and were transferred to a different bus. The students did not need medical attention.
The bicyclist was airlifted to a Tallahassee hospital.
