SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) – A recent lightning strike has temporarily closed the Lido Pool.
The Lido Beach Pool, at 400 Benjamin Franklin Drive, will be closed as crews repair the pool equipment that was damaged by a lightning strike.
The electrical panel, which controls the pool pumps and chemical levels, was damaged.
As crews assess the damage, they will determine a timeline to complete the necessary repairs.
