MONTICELLO, FL (WTXL) - UPDATE: I-10 eastbound was reopened Wednesday evening. FHP has yet to release more details on those involved.

Parts of I-10 Eastbound in Jefferson County are closed following a fatal accident, FHP reports.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol traffic website, the accident occurred near mile marker 219 just after 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Details have not yet been released on the cause of the accident.
Traffic is currently being directed off of I-10 at exit 209 and being rerouted to Highway 90. Drivers can reenter I-10 at exit 225.
