GADSDEN CO., Fla. -- A Greensboro man was killed in a crash that happened on Sycamore Road in Gadsden County, according to Florida troopers.

The single-car crash happened on Sunday, February 10, just after 10 p.m. Troopers say the victim, 54-year-old Jimmy Michael Taylor, was traveling eastbound on Sycamore Road (County Road 270) in a 1988 Chevy Silverado. For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road. Taylor reportedly over-corrected, and the truck overturned.

Troopers say that Taylor wasn't wearing a seat belt, causing him to be  ejected from the truck. He dies as a result of the accident.

It is unknown if the crash was alcohol-related. An investigation is pending.
