LEON COUNTY, FL (WTXL)- The Florida Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash, Friday, on Interstate 10 Westbound in Leon County at mile marker 213 Friday evening.
Crews were called to the scene at 6:04pm, according to FHP. Troopers arrived at 6:09pm.
Florida Highway Patrol States, the vehicle was traveling on the interstate when it went in to the grass median. The driver, Roger Lane Mckellar, then over corrected and lost control of the vehicle. After overturning several times the car landed on it's roof.
After, FHP along with the Leon County Sheriff's Office and the Tallahassee Fire Department assisted in removing Mckellar and the Passenger, Jeffrey Evans from the car.
Mckellar and Evans were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital to receive medical assistance for serious injuries. FHP reports that Mckellar injuries were fatal.
It is unknown whether Mckellar had been drinking and charges are pending
