UPDATE: Escaped inmate captured in Leon County

COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. -- An inmate that escaped from the Colquitt County Jail is behind bars again.

According to Colquitt County investigators, Demetrius Demario Walden, who escaped from the jail on Monday, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.

COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. --The Coulquitt County Sheriffs Office is currently searching for an escaped inmate who was being held on felony charges. Demetrius Demario Walden escaped from the Colquitt County Jail around noon Monday. He is possibly in the company of Chavaya Graham Torres, who is believed to be Walden's girlfriend. Walden and Torres are both from the Thomas County area and are possibly heading to the Pampano Beach, Fla. area.

Deputies say the couple may be traveling in a black, 2000 Lexus sedan that has a pink stick with the initials "CJKT" on it.

Walden is approx 5'11" in height and weights approx 220lbs.
