TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- "Well sir, it was something about...chopping her up, and feeding her to the hogs, something like that, sir," said Eugene Forbes.

Forbes said his cousin Elijah James told him what he had done to Danielle Brown the night she disappeared.

While brown's body was never found, Forbes said James never intended for anyone to find it.

"What did he say? they will never find her I don't know what they keep looking for her," said Forbes.

Witnesses like Kevin Prim, who did not want his face on camera testified James beat Brown to death.

"What happened once he got her out on the ground sir he continued to be her. How did he describe the beating that he gave her? he said it was rather violent sir," said Prim.

But, the credibility of his testimony was questioned by the defense attorneys. Prim was among other convicted felons who testified against James Thursday, some of them still in jail.

However; the defense attorneys didn't back down, they questioned them about whether or not they were providing testimony to get a reduction in jail time

"You remember that anytime you provide the state or prosecution, for a felony or other crimes, you can get a letter sent to the judge that sentenced you and you can get your sentence reduced, asked Greg Cummings, James' Attorney?

The prosecution plans to rest their case on Monday and the defense will begin witness testimony on Tuesday.
