TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A house fire on Cercy Trace road in Tallahassee caused an estimated $80,000 worth of damage, according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.
Firefighters from stations 1, 2, 7, and 9 responded to the two-story building fire at 10:16 a.m. A neighbor called the department after seeing smoke coming from the building.
On arrival, firefighters found flames coming from the first and second floors of the structure.
After putting out the fire, they determined there was no one inside.
No injuries were reported, and Red Cross was called to assist the displaced occupants.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
