TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man who was working as an unlicensed physical therapist was arrested last Friday on a sexual battery charge.

Tallahassee Police say that 58-year-old Luis Aguilar was working on a patient during a private session at his home last week when he touched her inappropriately, saying that he was doing a technique that he learned and had performed on other women.

On January 5th, court documents say that the woman was referred to Aguilar for her back pain, and she went to his home. During the massage, according to the documents, Aguilar touched her breasts and told her he would have to "insert" into her.

Documents say that she immediately said "I don't think so," but he did it anyway.

Police say she quickly got dressed and left after, but didn't call police about until a few days later.

Aguilar told TPD that he was a veterinarian and physical therapist in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1992. He told police that he has never been licensed to practice, but had been doing so privately for donations and had previously traveled to Pensacola, Jacksonville, and Tampa for patients.

As for the technique he used, documents say that Aguilar told police that he had performed it on other women as a way to relieve pressure and that it was something he learned at an unknown school in Mexico, and later admitted that he learned it from his grandfather.

According to documents, Aguilar is currently in the Leon County Jail, facing charges of sexual battery and fraud for practicing without a license.
