CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - University of Miami officials say a student has died after falling several stories from a campus building.
Media outlets reported Estefano Aime was on the fifth floor of the communications building shortly after midnight Wednesday when he tried to jump from one stairwell to another and didn't make it. Officials said a school shuttle had just dropped him off at the campus following a university event.
University officials said in a statement that Aime was a senior business major from Miami and also worked on campus.
Miami-Dade Police are investigating the death.
