TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Secret Service has thanked Tallahassee Police for their assistance back in October when then Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Kaine stopped into Tallahassee.
The visit on Oct. 28th was Kaine's second trip to the Capital City.
He went to the Florida State University and talked about early voting while pushing for Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
In the letter, the U.S. Secret Service said that it, "takes great pride in maintaining strong partnerships on a variety of levels in order to successfully accomplish both our protective and investigative missions. There's no better example of this collaboration than when we work together."
The Secret Service finished the letter by offering their assistance to the Tallahassee Police Department should they ever need it.
