TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -  The Tallahassee Police Department has arrested two women after a stabbing at the C.K. Steele bus plaza.

They have arrested Tamara Bryant and Ashley McKinney.

They say around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, TPD was called to a physical fight that resulted in two people reportedly receiving stab wounds.

Once on scene, TPD patrol officers and emergency medical personnel located the two victims and provided immediate medical aid.

Both people were transported to a local hospital for the non-life threatening injuries.

As the officers were investigating on scene, two women crossed the yellow police tape and tried to start another fight with each other. TPD officers stepped in and after attempting to stop them, placed them under arrest.

No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing.

TPD has not named any suspects.
