TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Two tornadoes touched down Sunday afternoon in Grady and Colquitt counties.
Local National Weather Service officials say police spotted the first tornado at the intersection of Pine Level and Ridge Road in northern Grady County near Elpino, GA. The twister knocked down multiple trees and damaged a mobile home. It was rated an EF-0 in strength with peak winds of 75 mph, traveled a tenth of a mile and was 50 yards wide.
A second tornado tore the roof and siding off of a house near Hartsfield, GA. It was also an EF-0. It had peak winds of 65 mph traveled 0.05 miles and was 25 yards wide.
There were no reports of injuries.
