WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two Wakulla High students have been arrested after they brought a hunting rifle onto school property.
During a perimeter check at Wakulla High School Friday morning, two students were discovered to have brought their vehicle on campus that contained a hunting rifle.
School Resource Officers were told of the situation and the students were arrested and the firearm was taken away.
The case is still being investigated by the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office.
The students are now in custody of the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office and their parents have been notified. WCSO said there is no present danger to any Wakulla High students.
