VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Authorities respond to two early morning fires in Valdosta.
The first fire was called in shortly after midnight Saturday morning, near the 800 block of Bay Street. About 30 percent of the home was severely damaged. No occupants were inside at the time of the fire. The cause has yet to be determined.
About fire hours later, crews were called out to the 300 block of Hill Avenue, where smoke was seen coming from a home. The fire was put out by sprinklers by the time fire rescue arrived. The home was vacant and about 20 percent of the home was damaged.T hat fire is still under investigation.
