LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two people suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident in Liberty County Thursday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident on Thursday around 10:45 a.m. that left two people with minor injuries.
According to FHP, both cars were traveling eastbound on State Road 20 in the inside lane approaching NW Virginia G Weaver Street, with vehicle one traveling in front of the other car.
The other car began slowing and merging into the center turn lane to make a left turn, while vehicle one continued eastbound and hit the back of the other vehicle.
Vehicle one came to a stopping point in the middle of the intersection blocking the inside westbound, eastbound, and center lanes.
FHP said the roadway was cleared by 11:26 a.m.
The driver of vehicle one is being charged with following too closely.
FHP was assisted by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, Liberty County EMS, and the City of Bristol.
