MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - Two people were seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Marianna involving a semi-truck.

Cierra Noble, 30, of Montgomery, AL., was arrested by the Marianna Police Department on Saturday.

On Saturday, at about 9:38 p.m., officers responded to a multi vehicle crash in front of a McDonald's.

While on scene, officers learned from witnesses that a semi-truck that was involved in the accident, kept driving and did not stop.

Upon further investigation, officers found out that a silver Chevrolet driven by Lacinta Davis, of Marianna, crossed Lafayette Street trying to get on Milton Avenue from McDonald's.

Officers stated in doing so, Davis hit another vehicle, causing her car to spin into the opposite lanes.

According to officers, that's when the semi-truck, driven by Noble, hit Davis's car.

Davis’s front seat passenger had to be extricated from the car by fire rescue personnel. Davis and her front seat passenger were both taken to a local hospital and later transported to a different hospital due to their injuries.

Davis also had two juvenile passengers in the backseat who were unharmed.

Noble and the driver of the other vehicle were also not injured in the crash.

Noble was later placed under arrest and taken to Jackson County Correctional Facility.

She is being charged with leaving the scene of a traffic crash with serious bodily injury.
