LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - One person is in critical condition and another is in serious condition after being T-boned and ejected from a motorcycle.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened Wednesday around 2:18 on S.R. 20.
Troopers say Charles Jordan, 67, of Bristol was driving his Toyota Camry eastbound on S.R. 20 in the inside lane while Donald Shepard, 67, of Lakeland and his passenger, Nancy Shepard, 62, of Lakeland, were traveling westbound.
Jordan turned left directly in front of Shepard, causing the two vehicles to collide.
Both Donald and Nancy Shepard were ejected and propelled from the motorcycle due to the impact. Donald was hospitalized in serious condition while Nancy was hospitalized in serious condition.
Jordan was uninjured.
Troopers say Jordan has been charged with failure to yield to on coming traffic. They do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
