LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff’s Office, with the help of the U.S.Marshals Service, have arrested two more suspects in connection with the murder of Hoyt Birge.
David Howard, 28, was arrested today and charged with First Degree Murder, Kidnapping, Carjacking, Possession of a firearm during a first degree felony and two counts of False imprisonment.
Paige Vowell, 28, was arrested last night and charged with accessory after the fact first degree murder. A total of four suspects have now been arrested in connection with the murder of Hoyt Birge.
Investigators have determined this was not a random act and are continuing to follow investigative leads.
