MADISON, FL (WTXL) - Two children reported missing from St. Petersburg, Florida, were found by the Madison County Sheriff's Office Thursday.

Dorian Sandhu and Frederick Sandhu were reported missing on Thursday, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

St. Petersburg Police believed their mother, Gigi Sandhu, who does not have custody of the children, took the two. According to police, the children live with their grandparents, and their mother is only allowed to have supervised visits with them.

The St. Petersburg Police Department says the children were found by the Madison County Sheriff's Office at the Deerwood Inn on Southwest Old St. Augustine Road in Madison.

That's where they found their mother. Gigi Sandhu was arrested and charged with interference with child custody. Madison County Deputies say she will be transferred back to St. Petersburg.

The children were safely turned over to the Florida Department of Children and Families.
