JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Two men have been charged with conspiracy after a woman walked into a Mississippi police station and said she had been abducted in Florida.

Police say 34-year-old Flor Esmeralda Turcio-Arias walked into the police department in Hattiesburg, Miss., on Thursday.

She told officers she had been kidnapped in Panama City, Fla. Authorities have not given a possible motive behind the abduction.

A police report shows that Ruperto Flores, 57, and Castillo Uriel, 31, have been charged in Hattiesburg with conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

It wasn't immediately clear if they had attorneys.

The FBI also is investigating.

James Stewart of the FBI's Pensacola, Fla., field office said the investigation is "in its infancy," but more arrests are possible.
