JACKSON Co., FL (WTXL) - Two men were arrested over the weekend after deputies say they burglarized a home on Highway 69.
Jackson County Sheriff's Deputies say Adrian Todora and John R. Davis were arrested on Sunday after deputies were called out to the house by the caretaker of the property.
Authorities say when the caretaker arrived at the house, a black Toyota Corolla was sitting in front of the home. The doors were open and there were several items from the house inside the vehicle.
That is when the caretaker called authorities and then watched the house and car until deputies arrived. K-9 units were called out and the two men were seen running into the woods.
Todora is said to have had the keys to the Corolla when he surrendered. Soon after, the K-9 units were able to capture Davis. Authorities say the two men admitted to going into the house and taking items from it.
Authorities say all stolen property was returned to the family and the two men were booked in the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
