VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department said that they have arrested two men for forcing a woman to participate in prostitution.

Valdosta Police said that on Tuesday, they set up a prostitution sting at a local motel in the 1200 block of North St. Augustine Road. A 37-year-old woman ended up meeting with the undercover agents.

After finding out that the agents were police officers, she told them that she was being forced by two men that brought her to the motel to participate in sexual activity for money.

VPD ended up arresting two men: 49-year-old Timothy Dorsey of Bowie, Missouri and 30-year-old Matthew Lenzi of Glendale, Arizona.

An investigation revealed that Lenzi and Dorsey had taken the woman to multiple states to participate in prostitution. They said that evidence supported the woman's claim, including more than $33,000 in cash.

They said both Dorsey and Lenzi were arrested for human trafficking and pimping. They have both been booked into the Lowndes County Jail.

Detectives say they are not currently pursuing charges against the female and arrangements are being made to assist her.
