QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - After reporting an uptick in home break-ins earlier this month, Quincy Police have arrested two men believed to be responsible for multiple break-ins in the Quincy area.
They have arrested Tyshaun Pope, 19, and Cody Johnson, 18, for a home break-in in the 100 block of Love Street in the Hillside Neighborhood.
Police say that they are continuing to investigate other home break-ins and believe the two may be responsible for other crimes as well. The two are believed to have taken flat screen TVs, video games, shoes and other items in the latest crime.
According to Quincy Chief Glenn Sapp, “the entering into someone’s home to commit crime and take people’s hard earned valuables is a very dangerous and serious crime. Make no mistake we will do everything in our power to bring residential burglars to justice."
Both men are being sentenced to burglary and grand theft.
Anyone with information about burglaries or any crimes should contact Capt. Robert Mixson with the Criminal Investigation Division at (850) 627-0138. You could receive a reward.
