FORT MYERS, FL (WTXL) -  According to officials , two people are dead and 17 others are injured after a shooting at Club Blu in Fort Myers. The club hosted a swimsuit-themed party for teens. 

UPDATE, 2:35PM-- Details on the Fort Myers shooting continue. 

The interim Fort Myers police chief says authorities have three persons of interest in custody and they are looking for others in the slayings of two teens at a nightclub.

Reports say a security guard at a nightclub where two teens were killed says she saw someone attack with a semi-automatic weapon, spraying bullets in the vicinity.

UPDATE, 10:20AM-- More details on the Fort Myers nightlclub shooting. 

Fort Myers police say the shooting was not an act of terrorism. Police Capt. Jim Mulligan said in a statement that investigators are working to determine a motive into the Club Blu shooting. 

Authorities have also identified the two victims who died in the shooting as 14-year-old Sean Archilles and 18-year-old Ste'fan Strawder.

UPDATE, 9:30AM-- Further details on the shooting at a Fort Myers Nightclub. 

According to reports recovered from online state records show the alcohol license for the Fort Myers nightclub was revoked on June 7. 

The same records also show a complaint was filed in 2014 for "criminal activity" and that the club was given an official notice. 

Florida Gov. Rick Scott says he'll be cancelling his scheduled events for the day to meet with officials in Fort Myers. 

Cheryl Garn, a spokeswoman for Lee Memorial Health System says the victims range in age from 12 to 27. 

The club reported that the shooting happened as the club was closing. 

UPDATE, 6:15AM-- More details on the shooting at a Fort Myers Nightclub. 

According to reports from Police the officials responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m.

Police are reporting that the scene is still very active at this point as investigators and crime scene personnel attempt to determine what had occured and a possible motive for the incident. 

Two people are confirmed dead and 14-16 others are hurt. Investigators are working to identify the deceased and notify next of kin.

Police are saying that two other scenes are connected with this incident. One is at a residence on Parkway Street where the residence and vehicles were shot at with one minor injury reported. 

The other location is on Ortiz Avenue between Luckett Road and Ballard Road. One person had been detained in connections with this incident. 

The Fort Myers Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Office are actively canvassing the area looking for other persons who may be involved in this incident.

Officers are saying it happened in the parking lot of "Club-Blu." They say that's where they found several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

At this time, investigators are still trying to determine a motive and are working to determine the identities of those deceased.

There is one person of interest detained at this time, police say.
