Two Jackson Co. crashes cause serious injuries

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Highway Patrol troopers say two vehicles that collided at the intersection of State Road 71 and Magnolia Road on Sunday injured two people from Marianna in one car and two people in another car.

The driver, Mildred Biggs, 77, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Her passenger, Harold Biggs, 81, was taken there in critical condition.

The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers say charges are pending.

A crash that happened on Howell Road near Perkins Lane Saturday night left three people with serious injuries.

Troopers say one of the drivers, Wallace Hobbs, 58, crossed the center line, crashing into another vehicle.

The driver and passenger of that vehicle were taken to the hospital.

Christopher Marr and Brandy Marr are listed in serious condition.

Hobbs is listed in critical condition.

Troopers say charges are pending.
