Two Injured in Thursday Bainbridge Shooting

BAINBRIDGE, GA (WTXL) - Authorities say they have arrested a second man involved in a Thursday shooting and have released the names of both suspects.

According to Bainbridge Public Safety officials, Rayvon Dejon Moten, 24, and Ray Lee Jones, Jr., 30, were arrested Friday morning.

Officials with Bainbridge Public Safety say just before 11 p.m. the two fired shots at a home on Japonica Drive.

Two men were outside of the home, calling for a person to come out, officers say. A different person came out of the home and said they did not know the person they were looking for.

That is when the two men got out of the vehicle and started firing at the building. Officers say no one outside was shot but a man and woman inside the home were injured.

The woman suffered an injury to her hand and was taken to Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge. The male victim taken to Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare on a life flight. Authorities have not released his condition.

Officers say one person has been arrested and that they believe they know the identity of the second suspect but have yet to make an arrest.

The names of the victims have not been released by authorities.
