JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two are in the hospital for serious injuries after an early morning crash in Jefferson County on Monday.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that 19-year-old Ethan Davis of Monticello was driving east on Coopers Pond Road when he started to make a left turn onto U.S. Highway 19.

According to troopers, James and Emma Bradley were already traveling south on U.S. Highway 19, and Regina Smith, who had two children in her car, was behind them in the outside lane.

Davis ended up pulling his car into James' path, causing the cars to crash. James' car ended up overturning, ejecting Emma from the car.

Smith's car traveled across the debris in the road and over Emma, colliding with the back of James' car.

Both James and Emma Bradley were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for their injuries. No one else was injured.

Troopers said that charges are being brought against Davis for failing to yield right of way.
