JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Authorities say two people have been taken to the hospital after an ice truck crashed in Monticello, spilling hundreds of bags of ice.
The Florida Highway Patrol, Jefferson County Fire Rescue, and Lloyd VFD responded to the crash on West Capps Highway around 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
They say an ice truck crashed, spilling hundreds of bags of ice.
Pictures posted by the Jefferson County Fire Rescue show the truck's frame completely destroyed and resting against a tree.
Two occupants inside the truck were transported to a local hospital for their injuries.
