TAMPA, Fla. (WTXL)-- A man and woman are dead in what investigators call an apparent murder-suicide at Florida Hospital in Tampa.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says shots were heard in a third floor room around 7 this morning.
Minutes later deputies found a man dead on the floor from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A woman was also found shot she later died in an emergency operating room.
Deputies say 70-year-old Steven Eugene Reynolds shot his stepdaughter, Alana Tedesco, then turned the gun on himself Monday morning.
Officials say both Reynolds and Tedesco were visiting a family member at Florida Hospital. Both died in the incident.
Officials say they are still investigating a motive.
