SUWANNEE Co., FL (WTXL) - Authorities say two people were killed Thursday afternoon in a three vehicle crash in Suwannee County.
According to Suwannee County Fire Rescue, the crash happened on SR 247 west of CR 137.
Authorities say a semi-truck rear ended a Volvo while it was waiting to make a left turn across traffic, causing a pickup truck heading in the opposite direction to hit the car again.
The semi-truck went off the road and rolled onto it's side.
The two people inside the car were killed, however the drivers of the other vehicles involved did not suffer any injuries, said first responders.
The Florida Highway Patrol has not yet released the names of the deceased, they are waiting until the next of kin is notified.
Troopers say charges are pending in the investigation.
