Two Climax residents arrested for financial transaction card fraud in Bainbridge

BAINBRIDGE,Ga. (WTXL) - The Bainbridge Public Safety officers were able to arrest two suspects in connection to financial transaction card fraud on Tuesday, August 29. 

On Sunday, August 20, two individual were reported for stealing and using a bank debit card at various retail businesses in Climax and Bainbridge. Even though surveillance video of the suspects was blurry, it showed enough information for the public to be able to identify the suspects and their vehicle, and report them to Public Safety.

With the help of the community, officers showed images to employees and they were able to confirm the identity of 26 year old, Bobby James Baggett and Tracy Michelle Dutton, 42. 

Both Baggett and Dutton confessed to the crimes. 

Bagget was arrested and charged with 5 counts of Financial Transaction Card Fraud (Felony) and Dutton was arrested and charged with 6 counts of Financial Transaction Card Fraud (Felony).
