JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said that two men have been arrested after they robbed an Indian Springs home.

They said that on Friday around 11:25 a.m., they got a call about a house burglary in progress in the Indian Springs Subdivision.

An investigator ended up spotting the car going westbound on Highway 90 and other deputies began trying to get the car to stop. The suspects continued to run away, leading deputies on a pursuit into Marianna.

Deputies said that the car turned north onto Noland Street, ran through two stop signs, then tried to make a right turn but crashed into a fire hydrant. The driver got out and ran away, but the passenger was arrested at the car.

As deputies started setting up a perimeter, they received a call from a person saying that they had seen the driver on foot in the area of 6th Avenue, walking west. Deputies say that they were able to quickly find and arrest the suspect.

An investigation revealed that the suspects burglarized a home on Jackson Bluff road and took several guns.

They said that Derrick Knowles, 21, and Xavier Lampley, 20, were arrested for armed burglary, grand theft of a firearm, grand theft, and other charges.

Deputies said that the investigation is ongoing.
