BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - Two people have been arrested after officers say a man robbed a bank while a woman drove the get away car.
According to Bainbridge Public Safety, officers were called to a robbery at PeoplesSouth Bank on Thursday morning.
When officers arrived on scene they found the vehicle sitting at the intersection of Douglas Drive and Tallahassee Highway.
They quickly approached the vehicle and arrested the driver. Officers then searched the vehicle and found a man hiding on the floor in the back of the vehicle.
Patrick Lon Keating, 23, of Tallahassee and Michelle Nicole Singh, 20, of Tallahassee were taken into custody for felony armed robbery.
After investigating, officers found that the suspect had entered the bank and wrote a note demanding money.
Officers say after receiving the money, the man ran out the bank and got inside the vehicle that was waiting for him outside.
Keating is also connected to the Synovous Bank robbery that took place on Jan.12 in Thomasville.
Both suspects were arrested and taken to the Decatur County Jail.
They are being held without bond until a bail amount is set by the judge.
