Two arrested for selling marijuana out of Tallahassee apartment

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A search of a Southside apartment lead police to arrest two people for selling marijuana. 

Tracy Allen, 23, and Gerkeria Scott, 22, were arrested on Friday.

The Tallahassee Police Department searched an apartment at Adams Place Condominiums as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

When they opened the front door, the odor of marijuana was prominent and the drug was in plain view in the kitchen. Police say they found marijuana all through out the apartment to include on kitchen surfaces, kitchen drawers, and inside a back pack.

They also found glass pipes, a digital scale and plastic bags all within plain view. Investigators say the total amount of marijuana found was approximately 185 grams.

Police also found two loaded guns inside the apartment as well as ammunition for the guns. 

Following the search, both individuals were transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.

Both Allen and Scott have been charged for possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of cannabis (more than 20 grams), possession of a firearm in commission of a 3rd degree felony, rent and maintain a place used for sale of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
