JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested two people who were accused of stealing several items including welding machines, utility trailers, and various power tools.
Deputies said that they had been investigating a rash of burglaries and thefts happening all throughout eastern Jackson County.
On Tuesday, investigators searched a house on 2776 Sand Ridge Church Road. During the search, they found stolen property that could be linked back to other thefts in the area.
Some of the larger stolen items recovered were: welding machines, utility trailers, lawn equipment, metal cutting torch equipment, and power tools.
They found and arrested Dewayne and Kayla Neel. Dewayne Neel was charged with grand theft and both were charged with dealing in stolen property.
The investigation is on-going and more arrest and charges may be forthcoming.
