Two Arrested for Having Meth in their Panacea Homes

PANACEA, FL (WTXL) - Two people were arrested in Panacea for possession of meth, according to deputies.

Gerald Griffith Middleton and Patricia Dawn Morgan were arrested on Wednesday after Wakulla County deputies served a warrant to search Middleton's home.

Middleton was alone in the house on Otter Lake Road and was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

Middleton had meth in his pocket when he was arrested and deputies say there drugs in the room ready to be injected.

While searching Middleton's home, deputies say they found out that Morgan had been consuming drugs at her home on Jer-Be-Lou Circle.

Morgan told deputies she and Middleton had done meth earlier in the day and allowed the deputies to search her home.

Inside they found needles, meth and other drug paraphernalia; Morgan was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both Middleton and Morgan were taken to the Wakulla County Jail are were held under a $10,500 bond.
