PERRY, FL (WTXL) - Two additional suspects have been charged in connection with the 2015 murder of a Taylor County teacher.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Manden Whiddon and his father Rodney Whiddon were indicted on first degree murder charges in connection with the death of 50-year-old Shelly Strickland.
Strickland was found dead inside her car at her residence on Osteen Road in Perry on June 24, 2015.
According to Strickland's friend, Sandy Murphy, she suffered gunshot wounds.
26-year-old Garrett Arrowood was previously indicted on charges of first degree capital murder, armed burglary, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and dealing with stolen property related to the murder, FDLE said.
Manden Whiddon is charged with murder in first degree while armed, armed burglary, dealing in stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Rodney Whiddon is charged with first degree murder while armed, armed burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was also charged last June for dealing in stolen property in connection with this case, FDLE said.
