WAKULLA COUNTY, FL (WTXL) -- Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash on US 319 north of East Ivan Road, said the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened after 31-year-old Brandon Hurst tired to make a left hand turn from the southbound land of US-319 into the exit only driveway of Dollar General, said the highway patrol.
According to the incident report, Hurst hit the front left side of a Lexus that was driving in the northbound lane of US-319.
Hurst was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Lexus and the passenger were both taken to Tallahassee Memorial hospital for serious injuries.
According to the Wakulla County Fire Rescue, commuter traffic was backed up for over an hour.
