TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Senate will vote Thursday on a bi-partisan deal that could re-open the government, to the relief of hundreds of thousands of government workers who need their paychecks.
The shutdown effects have been far reaching, but officials at Tallahassee International Airport said TSA and FAA employees are hanging in there and everything is still running smoothly.
"We continue to work with our federal partners and due to their hard work and dedication, airport operations continue to flow smoothly at TLH," said David Pollard, Interim Director of Aviation.
Travelers are reminded to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled airline departure time.
This is especially important during the early morning hours, when several flight departures are grouped closely together.
Pollard said he will continue to monitor the situation closely.
