WASHINGTON (WTXL) - President Donald trump discussed his strategy in Afghanistan and noted the frustration that many Americans have about the 16-year war.
Trump said Monday that victory in Afghanistan will mean "attacking our enemies" and "obliterating" the Islamic state group.
He's also vowing to crush Al-Qaeda, prevent the Taliban from taking over the country and stop terror attacks against Americans.
The president says he will not "talk about numbers of troops or our plans for further military activities."
Trump also called on India and Pakistan to step up.
The president said he will not give a timetable for when all of america's troops in Afghanistan will be home.
