TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Friday, Feb. 7, the City of Tallahassee (COT) Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs (PRNA) department will begin making upgrades to the Trousdell Aquatics Center. Some of these upgrades include replacing three large pool filter tanks and repairing the pool liner.
In order to make these improvements, a spokesperson for the City says the center will need to be closed for approximately three weeks. The center is tentatively set to re-open on Saturday, March 1. During the center's closure, swimmers are encouraged to visit other City pools like the Wade Wehunt Pool, 907 Myers Park Dr. or the Jack McLean Aquatics Center.
The official re-open date will be posted on Talgov.com, as well as PRNA’s Facebook and Twitter Pages.
Trousdell Aquatics Center is located at 298 John Knox Rd., Tallahassee, FL.
