TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a stray dog caused a three car crash on I-10 WB Monday night.

The crash happened Monday around 11:06 p.m. on I-10 WB near the Monroe Street exit.

Troopers say that a car was traveling westbound in the inside lane at mile marker 199 when a dog ran into the car's path, causing the front of the car to hit the dog.

After the impact, the vehicle was disabled and crashed into the back of another car, which in turn caused that car to crash into the vehicle in front of it.

Luckily, no one was injured in the crash. Troopers say no charges will be filed.

The report does not indicate whether or not the dog survived the crash.
