THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Troopers in Georgia have released the name of the woman who died in a Thomas County crash.
The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed that Carolyn Phelps of Adel was killed in the crash yesterday morning on U.S. 122.
Troopers said Phelps was closely following a truck driven by Michael Jones when the vehicles collided and she lost control.
Her car then rolled over twice before landing in a ditch.
Jones was also injured but his condition is not life threatening.
Officials said drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in the crash.
