THOMASVILLE, GA (WTXL) - A 19-year-old is dead after drifting into another lane of traffic in Thomasville; officials believe he was distracted by his cell phone.

Larry Thomas Graham was pronounced dead on-scene Wednesday evening, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Troopers say Graham was driving on U.S. 319 north of Crowley Road when his vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic.

When his vehicle drifted into the lane, it hit a vehicle driven by Sharon Kae Kubik, according to GSP.

Troopers say both Kubick and Graham had to be extracted from their cars. Kubik was taken to Archbold Medical Center in critical condition.

Toxicology reports are pending, however alcohol is not believed to be the cause of the crash. It is believed by troopers that Graham was distracted by his cell phone.
