MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - Police say they have arrested three men caught trying to steal school buses.
Austin Boutwell, 18, Jamie Kinsey, 18, and Brandon Donaldson, 21, were arrested Sunday by the Marianna Police Department and taken to the Jackson County Corrections Facility.
The three have been charged with attempted theft of a school bus, trespass on school property and burglary of a structure.
All three admitted they had entered the Jackson County School Bus Compound to take two buses, the police said in a news release.
Police found the three inside the compound on Penn Avenue about 8 p.m. Sunday. They had entered the compound through a cut in a fence and had taken food from a building.
Arriving at the compound, the officers saw two of the suspects running and caught them after a short foot pursuit.
